Abby & I were ecstatic to become part of history at the first General Women's Meeting.

 Wow!  Am I glad we were there.  
It was so inspiring!
 Afterwards, we met up at Zupas with a bunch of sisters from our ward. Yummmy!

Most days I just feel really lucky & beyond blessed.
Today was one of those days.
It's been an incredible season for the DWMS basketball & cheer teams!

Tonight all their hard work & dedication paid off.

After a nailbiter game the boys bball Final Score was...44-38!

They performed like champs!

We got off the ship at about 9 am & were excited to do a 

session at the Los Angeles Temple...but

it was closed for maintenance.  

It was such a bummer, but we had fun checking out the Visitor's Center instead.

Ensenada, Bargaining, & The Eating Marathon Continues

Shopping on this little Mexican street was pretty fun, actually.  

I'm not usually too excited about the whole bargaining thing, 

but we seriously loved this day & found just the right

"prizes" for Mom & all the kids.

Table for 2 every night. 

We could pick from about 7 different restaurants.

It was maybe my favorite part of the trip.  

No reservations needed, no prices on the menu, no tipping, no cooking, & no dishes. 

It was just a fancy dinner complete with white linens, fresh flowers, & outstanding service.  We tried all the exotic appetizers & desserts,  then always ended with 2 creme brulees.

Our first stop was Catalina Island where we had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity (& 3 hr. work out) kayaking with a huge pod of wild-key word wild-dolphins.  
There was no guide, just Mick & I in a rented kayak way far out from the shore.

It was sooo awesome!
(& a little scary-they were so close I could touch them & worried they really might knock us over!)

This was the view near the beach where we relaxed & read while

soaking up some rays after the kayaking expedition.

You can see our ship, The Sapphire Princess, in the background.

 The flowers were beautiful & the weather was perfect!

Couldn't have been more excited for this little getaway with my favorite guy
Bon Voyage from Los Angeles!

 The ship was beautiful & pretty hoppin'!  

We had fun lounging by the pools, seeing shows & comedians, & 

just watching the ocean go by out our stateroom window.

It was such a fun season so far-now on to the playoffs!

It was "Dress up like your favorite book character" day at school today.

Bree squeezed herself into our Little Red Riding Hood costume

& even kept her hood on all day.

In other news, Bree spied with her little eye-a huge moth grabbing 
a little snack from this flowering vine in our backyard.

Not bad for a 7-year-old & an iphone.
