2016 ninety-five

We had each of the kids choose a fun thing to do on our Spring Break trip.
Abby and Cade both wanted to go surfing at the Flowrider back in our old stomping grounds, O Town.
We found some good deals online and had a blast trying to catch this wave...

First-instructions, then let's do this!
His face says it all (like usual)
All business!

 The Surfers!  Right on duuudes!

Our next stop was to this sacred place, Brigger's grave in South Ogden.

Saturday Easter Celebrations

We had an awesome time at a neighborhood Easter egg hunt put on by our Bishop's family, the Julians.

How cool that the Easter bunny came hopping down the trail right before the hunt began.

Cal's new BFF ha ha

Bree loved it!

This cutie started hunting in the wrong age group area, so I told her to head out to the older kid's section.  She stopped right there & dumped out all of the eggs she had found before heading to the right spot.  I had not expected her to get rid of the eggs she already had, & that made it so her basket was less than full at the end, but she was such a good sport & didn't seem to mind at all.

He scored!

I can't get enough of this guy.  I love everything about him.

Here is the whole hunting crew with the famous Easter Bunny!

In the evening, we had pizza & decorated eggs with the Carters before heading to the local Seventh Day Adventist Church's "Journey to the Cross" production.  It was pretty incredible.

Coloring Eggs!!

Cal, Easton, Breezers

This is very serious business

Abs loves anything artistic or creative so this was right up her alley

Cal's proud of his purple!

While we were waiting for our tour to start, we sat in the chapel and were treated to some upbeat religious music by this band.  The kids were so enthusiastic they really got the performers going.  It was pretty funny.

The last supper reenactment

And...that's all the pictures I took, but it was a great experience and really brought things to life for the kids. Many from the community and other church's step up to volunteer & it is an amazing production.

2016 eighty-five

Abby loved the play "Joseph" at the high school so much that she just HAD to go again.
Cade was dying to see it as well so we dropped these two crazies off for the show, where they had a blast, as you can see from this fabulous selfie.

Almost since birth Cade has been one big bruise.
The latest ones are thanks to some crazy dirt biking

2016 seventy-eight

Bree felt so sad that we didn't set a leprechaun trap & one didn't come mess up our house. I reminded her that leprechauns don't come to everyone's house & one has never been to the Tomanys.  Guess who still set a trap with a little note on St. Patrick's Night?

And guess whose house had been visited for the first time by a tricky leprechaun this morning?  Yikes!

Cade is waiting for our 100 dirt bike to get out of the shop, but he is so excited about this little track some of his friends are working on together that he loaded up his pack and shovel and headed over on Fifty.

2016 seventy-seven

Our Traditional Green Dinner Night shared with a few of Bree's friends (Maia & Morgan)

Green shirt & eyes were a nice touch, Caders.

Yummy Gingerale straight out of the green can
We took turns reading St. Patty's Day trivia during dinner & I think we all learned something.
 Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Meet the newest member of the fam, Fifty

Just his size

 Love that smile!

Cade had a friend from school that was selling it for a steal, so Mick & the boys ran over & took it off their hands tonight.  Thanks Caders!

I see lots of spills & wrecks (& fun) in the future!

Date Day with Caders to All Sport for some drooling over these cool toys

 His Dream Bike

And...we fired up the John Deere Riding Mower this afternoon

The little trailer cart thing was a hit

Cade was pretty pumped!
I think he even momentarily forgot how bad he would like a new dirt bike haha!

You should see that thing corner

Abs was pretty excited to take a turn as well

Too legit, too legit to quit Hey Hey!

Oh Boy Breezers.  Keep it under control!

Abs decided to take it to the next level and surf

We'll see how fun it is about July when we have to mow this acre regularly!!
