 I love that Mick is such a good sport and is always up for whatever!  I really can't imagine life without him.

 The After Race Party was really fun.  We danced and participated in about 3 color explosion countdowns.  The kids were just giddy and loved the adrenaline of being in the crowd.

Life really is too short to be anything but HAPPY!  

Our life is far from perfect, but it doesn't have to be perfect to be wonderful.

Mick, Cal, and I met one of my favorite nieces, Elle, today for packet pick up!  Yay for The Color Run! Elle is head honcho of the online store for the company and she generously got us free registrations.  We are so excited to do this as a family.  Cal is so excited because he just scored some free white & hot pink Color Run glasses!

I may have bribed him with several escalator rides (& a See's Chocolate Sample & free gumballs from the Skechers Store) for being a trooper while we ran errands all afternoon. 

 Bree frequently turns her dinner into artwork.  Love it!

Sometimes, I unexpectedly hear my name being called through lots of crazy giggles upstairs to find the whole family in front of the mirror, complete with headbands, doing some moves from the Taylor Swift Shake it off Aerobics Video from the 80s.

Cade bought a really cool quad-copter from good 'ol Amazon.
It flies up really high and records video.  We have all been having a blast with it!

Breezers enjoyed a really long bath tonight!  Maybe a little too long?  This picture was taken quite a while after she was out & still wrinkles galore!  Saturday is a special day.

We called in some professionals to look at our dirt bike that needs a little TLC.

& later still we made a late night Maverick run with the whole family so the kids could pick out the 1 treat they had each been promised.  Of course, we ran into a new couple from the ward while we have our kids out late in their PJs.  Parents of the year....again!

Cal is officially starting piano. Yikes.  4 for 4 now.  We need a couple more pianos in the house and a sound proof room!

SHE DID IT!  

SHE EARNED HER MEDALLION! 

That's like a hundred hours or so of high quality experiences.  I'm so proud of this girl in every way.  She will receive the actual necklace this Sunday at church, but at New Beginnings tonight she was presented with a bouquet of beautiful flowers.

Walking Home From Church (while we drove alongside.)

 Bree had a little somethin' somethin' irritating her eye and she kept her hand over her eye for the whole afternoon.  All the way through church, the walk home, etc.  Silly Girl!  Cal thought he might as well see what all the fuss was about, I guess, so he joined her like this for most of their walk too.  

She's all good now!

2015 forty-five

Mick and I made it home just in time for Cal's last basketball game.  Curt & Diane (my brother & sister-in-law) came to watch him and then stayed for Cade's games too.  Pretty lucky, I tell ya!  

Meg & Carrie were still standing after watching the kids Tues-Sat and came to cheer the boys on as well. 

 After the games, Curt & Diane went back to St. George, and we had our annual Valentine's Day Party.  We ate pizza and fruit/veggie tray, then played some Minute to Win It games.
